The Culinary Flair of Queen Elizabeth 2

From formal to casual, the Queen Elizabeth 2 overflows with fresh flavors. Indulge in wild berries and croissants from the buffet in the Lido, or scones and clotted cream for afternoon tea (yum, yum).

Savor grilled dishes for lunch at the casual Pavilion near the pool. Later, feast on lobster at the Captain's Gala Dinner in the Queen's Grill restaurant.

In the tradition of Ocean Liners from the past, your main restaurant for the voyage is assigned in accordance with the accommodation you select. The Travel Goddess can only recommend one - The Queen's Grill - why would you settle for less my Travel Darlings!

The Cunard chefs create a variety of continental cuisine to delight the most discerning palates.

The attentive but unobtrusive waiters spoil you with the finer points of Cunard White Star Service. The sommelier is pleased to share his expertise with a recommendation from the 225 labels in the wine cellar, one of the largest afloat (where is my bubbly please!)

For breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can opt to dine in the casual atmosphere of the Lido. A room service menu is available around the clock. And delicious healthy choices are always included on the menus.

With such a variety of pleasures, it's no wonder aficionados from all walks of life have been known to sing the praises of dining on board the Queen Elizabeth 2. (oh la, la, la, la!)

Accommodation

Be pampered aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 in the style to which you are accustomed (mais oui). Like the grand hotels of Europe, the Queen Elizabeth 2 has a wide range of accommodation to suit your individual desires and dreams. Each level of accommodation is paired with an elegant sea-view restaurant.

But The Travel Goddess can only give her stamp of approval on one choice of accommodation - The Queen's Grill. Pamper yourself in total luxury.

In the Queen's Grill accommodation you will luxuriate in a sea-view suite or an ultra-deluxe cabin, paired with a single-seating restaurant acclaimed as the best at sea by the Berlitz Complete Guide to Cruising and Cruise Ships.

All Queen's Grill suites and cabins have the typical luxury features that you would expect; all have sea views and feature a full bathroom with both tub and shower, bathrobes, a large closet, a refrigerator and a seating area.

Some have a private verandah. In the five-star Queens Grill single-seating restaurant, every meal is an epicurean masterpiece.

Guests booking cabin grades Q1, QS and Q2 will be provided a Bon Voyage bottle of champagne, a bar stocked with selected spirits or wine and soft drinks, daily fresh fruit, evening canapés and personalized stationary. In addition, Penthouse Service (in grades Q1 and Q2) pampers guests with the services of a butler or maid and room service prepared by Queens Grill chefs.
(oh pamper me please!)
